It is December and Christmas approaches fast. It seems I have considerable less time to get ready than usual. Health issues, the cold weather and pre-holiday chores have prevented my attention to posting new photos, though there are many. I take this opportunity to wish all visitors a very merry Christmas and may 2010 be one of your best years ever.
Remember to keep Christ in Christmas - He is the reason for this holiday!

Monhegan Wildflowers

These flowers are not yet identified - but I saw them being trampled by some who were walking the trails looking for scenery. The flowers are part of the "scenery" but go unseen by many!

Indian Pipes

In my "revealing the unseen
efforts, a friend brought me to a site where, she imagined
these to be mushrooms. We later found out that they are
actually flowers.

Art Photography

The painted trillium is a wildflower in Maine. This one was taken at Screw Auger Falls in late May. It is an enlargement and edited with a "soft focus" -
I hope you enjoy it!
